The founders Joy and Mark started  Baxfood Caribbean  healthy fast food Business from their home kitchen in Whyteleafe Surrey. The success of the home ran business  paved the way for them to  take on commercial premises in Purley in 2016.

Joy explains that before starting the business as a busy  mum she did not always find time to cook everyday. It was hard to  find nourishing  takeaway food that ticked all the boxes of  healthy and nourishing meals that  the whole family could enjoy. She therefore took it on herself to fix this within her business.

Baxfood Caribbean is no ordinary Caribbean takeaway with an ethos of heathy and delicious food Collected or Delivered. Their  slogan “ changing the way you think about fast food” sums up their dedication to providing home cooked fast food in the same way they did when they cooked at home.

Each dish is created with the aim ofproviding healthy, nourishingand tasty choices.The foodis either grilled steamed or shallow fried with loads of fresh vegetables and salads available with all meals. Mark makes all the sauces from scratch so you can be sure that there are  no artificial flavours.

Baxfood Caribbean takeaway have a 5 star food hygiene rating and have been awarded The“Eat Well Croydon certificate” from Croydon Council 4 years in a row – not surprising given Baxfood’s  high standardsand pristine premises (front of house and behind the scenes) a home from home really.)
